Our
congratulations to the Members of Krugersdorp Club for the well deserved
win this year and again many thanks to Selsdon Club Members for the tough
competition and excellent images also.I used this year only one very
experienced National and International external Judge in the form of "PSQ-Photographic
Society of Queensland" and "APS- Australian Photographic Society"
accredited Mr. John Lomas LAPS SSAPS PSQF, and it was his preferred option
to score the sight unseen images on the 15 point scale.
His main comment was on the very high Quality of all of the 45 images
across a wide variety of subject matter, but he was quite impressed by the
nature images submitted. (Of course he found out after the Judging that
these were of course mostly KCC images)..... well done South Africa.
He was also quite taken with most of what we in Australia would call the
Altered Reality artistic Images.
John also commented on how he thought the Idea of the 3-way
International was a great one.
Again, many thanks from the Peninsula Camera club members for this
year’ participation, we look forward to 2012, for again a close tussle
.... photographically speaking.
