I am a committee member at Hermanus PS and have visited your site on a number of occasions.  I want to tell you that this is the best photographic site that I have visited, with an enormous wealth of information at my fingertips.  Congratulations and keep up the good work.  I am spreading the news locally.

Hi

I stumbled across your website and I have been hooked! After an absence of 8 years from photography, I am starting up with Black & White again.

I wonder if you could point in in the direction of retailers selling film in bulk? I am specifically looking for Ilford FP4+ in 36 exp. Should the store accept online orders it would be even better.

In the UK it was easy to visit the online photographic warehouses and to order the film (and other stuff) online with a credit card.

Hope you can help me.

Keep up the good work, I'll be a frequent visitor to your site!

Sincerely

Jaco Denkema

Hi Eddie,

Are you responsible for the Krugersdorp website? If so well done, it is by far the best club site out there… something for the rest of us to work towards.

Since you were kind enough to put me on your international
photographers list containing head shots of some of my friends I
thought you may want to include my own.

Hallo Daar! Ek sou graag wou aanlsuit by julle klub.

Kiekie groete

Hello,

I am the webmaster from http://www.difoto.yucom.be Tongeren Belgium, a slide and photo club, and I am responsible for promotion of the Club.
So I wil  promote other clubs, also in other country's. We have for the moment 1500 hits each month.
I have installed a link to your website Krugersdorp Camera Club on the button "Foto -Links" and then " English Language Photoclubs"
I appreciate your website  as one of the best of the world, a website with a good lay-out, and not forget a lot of good-looking photos, my congratulations for you.

A link to our site  is not  a obligation but we appreciate it very much.
So then we can make contact with people who share the same hobby, and we will both have more visitors on our sites.
The website is for the moment  in Dutch, but the website is very simple of lay-out , you can see the pictures at the button  ' Ledenwerk '. Make now your choice on the right and you 'll see  Flash movies. Go over the thumbnails and you'll see the big picture,
Maybe It is pleasure to just browse and see what comes up when you click your mouse !
We have also the links  to  all the Photographic Clubs in Belgium and the Nederlands
I hope that you enjoy it

Thank You

I found this on the Clifton site. Very nice. This is what the Internet is for - sharing information with people all over the world.

I thank you also for providing information on color calibration. It's
important for everyone to be on the same page, even if we are on different
continents.

Your website is fantastic. If only I had the time to spiff up my site.
Please let us know when you'll need the images for your competition.

Best regards

I just wanted to congratulate you on a very interesting web site
(Krugersdorp Camera Club). Ben Broughton, who is my father and also a
club member pointed me to it and I was really impressed.
Very
informative and colourful. I hope you will eventually add some
more of
the images taken by club members to the site, since I have been to a
meeting and I am well aware of some of the considerable talent in your
club.

Keep up the good work.

Bennie Broughton

Yes, we'll be sending you photos soon, so expect some to come your way soon via e-mail.  When I discussed the contest at our last executive meeting, it was received with open arms.  This is the kind of project that we hope to establish through our own website, so you're doing our hobby a great service!

As well, just in case you may not already know, our local Anglican Diocese of Qu'Appelle is Klerksdorp's newest "Companion Diocese".  If you happen to have any Anglican photo club members, please let me know, as that is one other connection between our two corners of the world!  We may even have the possibility of arranging a visit!

Again, best of luck for the contest preparations and outcome!

I want to congratulate you on the best South African Photography site I have come across so far.

I recently completed my B tech degree in photography and am now looking for employment as an assistant. (in advertising) Any information on classifieds, web-sites or any other help in this field will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you kindly

Interclub competitions feedback

Thanks for the information and congratulations on a well deserved win.

As you know, we have been entering this competition since 1998 when digital
was a 'dirty word' in some peoples view. In the past we have struggled to
collate entries from enough members in order to comply with the rules. This
year however I received almost 100 images to make my selection from. I just
goes to show how popular digital imaging has become.
In fact, it is now so popular that we are about to hold our own digital
competition. This will be judged by an external assessor for the first
time.
I expect to see many of the images used in the Krugersdorp competition
appearing in our own digital comp.

Please send our best wishes to your members and pass on a round of applause
to everyone involved in the running of the competition.

Kenny McLean
External Competition Secretary
Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Photographic Society

Good to hear from you. Thanks for hosting a spectacular competition.
I saw the results today at work--the pages load much faster with a T-1
connection. You had the results and images posted so soon after the event.

Impressive!

Thank-you for putting on a great show! Could you please extend our thanks

to your committee and your club for hosting such a fantastic event. We'll

be sure to come back again next year! Congratulations also to all the

winners and entrants.

Thanks for the good news.  It's great to take part and better to do well.  Many thanks for organising the competition.  We'd like to take part in the next one please.

It was a great competition and we have all enjoyed seeing the pics from the competing clubs on your website.

thanks again,

Internet Digital Imaging Group

Congratulations for once again conducting a first-rate international
e-mail competition. The international range of participant clubs, the calibre
of the images, the organizational efficiency and standard, all make your
competition one that Don Mills Camera Club, Toronto, was delighted to
participate in. You can count on our annual participation..

The images entered were indeed amongst the best I have seen and we do join
you in congratulating Internet Digital Imaging Group for their 1st place
standing. We were pleased with our standing given this high calibre of
photography and aim to do nothing but rise in the standings year after
year!

By the way, your website is dynamic.. Congratulations.

If you happen to visit Toronto, please look us up. If one of us happens to
be in SA, we will do the same. A thought has just occurred to me - perhaps
we could coordinate with you and organize a Club photo safari! Donald
Davies and I have led photo safaris to E. Africa (I was born in Kenya and I
need my "Africa fix" every two-three years!).

Best regards.
